Made by students who needed it.
Olauda is a private project run by students in Berlin. We built the tool we were missing at school, and we use it every day.
Story
Homework got lost in a messenger group. Cancelled lessons were news at the classroom door.
So we built what we were missing: one place where homework, exams and timetable changes are written down once and everyone can see them. It has grown one real need at a time — invite links, roles and permissions, a timetable editor, courses for Abitur year groups, Dalton support. Nothing was added because it looked good on a feature list.
Principles
- Free, without ads
- No subscriptions, no premium tier, no advertising. Everyone gets the whole product, and that won't change.
- Private by default
- Private tasks are stored encrypted, passwords only as a hash. We don't sell data, we don't show ads, and we don't collect more than the service needs to run.
- By students
- We're students ourselves and use Olauda every day, so we build what we actually need — not what sounds good in a sales pitch.
- Only what helps
- Every feature has to solve a real problem at school. Whatever doesn't gets cut.
Team
Olauda is built and run by a small group of students in Berlin, in our free time and with no company behind it. Want to help or have an idea? Write to us — we're happy to hear from you.
